Session 1: WHAT IS A PRODUCER/THE BUSINESS OF HOLLYWOOD
You’ll learn what separates a Producer from a director or writer, and how Producers serve as the creative and operational backbone of any project whether it’s a television series, a feature film, or a digital production. We'll explore different types of producers (e.g., executive, line, co-producers) and their unique responsibilities.
Session 2: PITCHING & DEVELOPMENTÂ
Discover how Producers find, shape, and package ideas and what it takes to pitch and sell a show or film in today’s entertainment landscape. From building pitch decks to attaching talent, you’ll gain tools to position your project for success in the development phase.
Session 3: PRE-PRODUCTION & PRODUCTION
Explore how Producers oversee the production process from start to finish: budgeting and scheduling during pre-production, problem-solving on set, and managing editing, sound, and delivery in post-production. You’ll learn how Producers keep a creative vision intact while keeping the project on track.
Session 4: POST PRODUCTION, DISTRIBUTION, & MARKETING
